KABO INTERNATIONAL INKS DEAL WITH NEWEN FOR THE SOCIAL EXPERIMENT FACTUAL FORMAT THE BREAK-UP
Monday 8th January 2018 – Distributor KABO International has finalized a deal with France’s NEWEN for their latest social experiment factual format, THE BREAK-UP.
THE BREAK-UP has already been picked up by Phil Gurin, President of Unscripted and Alternative at Global Road Entertainment for the USA, English Canada, UK and South America, whilst KABO International has secured distribution rights to the rest of the world.

With one marriage out of two ending in divorce, it beckons the question – are couples these days giving up too easily? Based on proven and existing ‘couples therapy method’, THE BREAK-UP (primetime, 60’) seeks to help real life couples with identifiable problems and forces them to face the unthinkable in order to help them find solutions and solve the problems in their relationships before they risk losing everything.
In order to save their love, the couples in question will simulate a break-up, split their belongings, sign a divorce contract, and take off their wedding rings. Then over the course of several weeks they will live the single life focusing only on themselves, reconnect with their inner-selves, maybe even date other people and forget about one another …or not, because you only know how much someone means to you when they’re gone!
